Brawl Talk October 2026: Thunder Frogs, Free Rey or Ruby and Ranked Rework

The October 31, 2026 Brawl Talk revealed three new Brawlers: Thunder Frogs, the first Legendary Artillery Brawler, coming in November, and Rey and Ruby, coming in December. You will be able to pick either Rey or Ruby for free during the Brawlidays season. Supercell also showed a big Ranked rework, 6 new Buffies, new skins and new modes, but did not give an exact update date.

Thunder Frogs: first Legendary Artillery Brawler
Thunder Frogs are three frogs that work as a single Brawler. In the Brawl Talk, Supercell said they are “the first legendary artillery brawler” and that they are coming in November. Supercell’s own post joked about “3 New Brawlers (or is it 5?)” because of the three frogs.
- Main attack: you throw the frogs to different spots, and they form an electric triangle that damages enemies inside it.
- Super: the frogs merge into one big frog that jumps three times and deals area damage on each landing.
- Hypercharge: the last jump also fires an electric attack between the landing spots.
Stats, price and the unlock event were not shown.
Rey and Ruby: how to get one for free
Rey and Ruby are the King and Queen of Toyland, and the first Brawlers whose abilities work together when they are on the same team. Each one heals the other with their main attack and moves faster when close to their partner. Rey locks onto enemies to build a damage mark, while Ruby throws a club and a diamond and has a Super that grounds enemies.
Supercell confirmed you can choose either Rey or Ruby for free during the Brawlidays season in December. It has not explained how the free pick works or how to unlock the second one.
Ranked changes
Ranked got the longest segment of the show. The confirmed changes include:
- A new pick and ban screen with filters, search, quick chat and ban suggestions.
- A new preparation screen and more end-of-match stats.
- Fairer Elo: you gain more for a 2–0 win and lose less in a 2–1 loss.
- Ranked will require Power 11 Brawlers, and free maxed Brawlers go from 3 to 6.
- No teaming at Masters and above, and a Play Again button after matches.
New modes, skins and Brawlidays
Supercell showed new modes including 20-Player Showdown, Counter Light and Super Hockey, plus an upgraded Loaded Showdown. The next season is crime-city themed “Brawl Vice,” and the Brawlidays season brings an advent calendar and holiday skins. Unofficial trackers expect the next season on November 5, 2026, but Supercell did not confirm a date in the video, so treat that as an estimate.
