The Wolf Among Us Remastered launched on October 29, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). It costs $24.99 digitally, according to DLCompare. The remaster keeps Telltale’s original story and art style but rebuilds the character models, relights every scene and adds a black-and-white Noir Mode.

DLCompare reports a $24.99 digital price before discounts. It also reports that the Switch version has slipped to a later, unannounced date. Telltale had earlier shown the game for Switch, so treat the Switch timing as unconfirmed until Telltale or Nintendo lists a new date.
What’s new in the remaster
- New character models: game director Matt Saia told PlayStation.Blog that every character went from concept to a new high-detail model, with all-new textures.
- Every scene relit: the team moved the game to the newer Telltale engine used for the Batman series and ended up relighting every scene.
- Noir Mode: an optional black-and-white mode you can turn on or off, aiming for a pure film-noir look.
- A fiercer werewolf: Saia said the wolf form got the biggest visual change.
- Bonus content: DLCompare lists over an hour of extras, including behind-the-scenes videos, cast interviews, galleries and playable deleted scenes.
Telltale says it did not change the story or the directorial choices, so this is the same five-episode mystery from 2013–2014 with a big visual upgrade.

If you never played The Wolf Among Us, this is now the easiest way to start. If you already finished it, the main reasons to return are the new visuals, Noir Mode and the bonus material. It is also a good refresher before The Wolf Among Us 2, which DLCompare says is planned for 2027.
