The safest place to find codes for a Roblox game is the game’s own Roblox page: read the description, then check the developer’s official community linked from that page. Codes are always typed into a box inside the game, so any site, video, or player that asks for your password, a download, or a login to “unlock” codes is a scam.

Where official codes come from

Place Why it is trustworthy What to watch for
Game description on Roblox Written by the developer on Roblox itself Codes often sit at the top of the description after updates
Developer’s community (group) on Roblox Linked from the game page, run by the creator Make sure it is the same creator listed on the game page
Official social links (Discord, X) Many developers post codes there first Use the links on the game’s Roblox page, not ones sent in chat
Trusted code pages Collect active codes in one place Should never ask for your login

Step by step: find codes safely

  1. Open Roblox and search for the game by name. Check the creator name to make sure it is the real game and not a copy.
  2. Read the game’s description. Developers often list new codes there, especially after an update.
  3. Look for the creator’s community on the game page. Joining it can show update news, and some games only give rewards to members.
  4. If you want the developer’s Discord or X account, use the social links shown on the game’s Roblox page. Do not trust links sent by strangers.
  5. Type codes only inside the game’s own code box. Many games treat codes as case-sensitive.

Note for younger players: Roblox announced that in early 2026 it would begin requiring an age check to see social media links on profiles, communities, and game pages. If you do not see a game’s Discord or X link, that may be why. Ask a parent, or stick to the game description and our code pages.

Red flags that a “code” is fake

  • It asks you to log in somewhere. Roblox says to only log in on roblox.com or the official apps, and to leave and report any experience that asks for your login.
  • It promises free Robux. Roblox says free Robux offers in exchange for account details are scams. In-game codes give in-game rewards, not Robux.
  • It needs a download or browser extension. Roblox says it does not make browser extensions.
  • It comes from a lookalike account. Display names can be copied, so check the username and creator before trusting a post.

Using our codes pages

We check each game’s Roblox page, developer community, and update notes before listing a code, and we say clearly when no codes are active. Start with:

If a code fails, the developer may have turned it off. Check the game description again for the newest list.

What to do if you find a scam

Report it inside Roblox. For a fake game, use the Report Abuse button in the lower-right of the game’s description box. For a player, open the in-game menu, use the Report tab, choose the person and the reason, and submit. Roblox asks you to report the specific game, chat, or item so moderators can see what happened.

FAQ

Roblox announced that age checks would be required to see social media links on game pages, profiles, and communities starting in early 2026.

How do I know a code page is safe?

A safe page only shows codes and how to type them into the game. It never asks for your password, a download, or a login.
